Back to the Seabass grounds with Newark bait and fly casting club charter. Slow start for us today. Drift was too fast so down the anchors went picked away at some great quality right away then fizzled out the same we have seen on anchor all week catch what wants to bite. Wind backed off drift was still funky with a screaming current but we started to pick away. Today’s crew stuck with it fished hard and they were rewarded once the current backed off we had a couple good shots of nice quality. The few anglers we had jigging did better than those with the bait rigs . Saw a few nice fluke today with some ling in the mix as well.
